About The Artist

I fell in love with art and creativity when I realised the powerful impact a beautiful painting can have. It can uplift the mood and bring the interior design of a home to life. As a process, painting brings me deep engagement in the present moment. Time flies, and my sense of self is forgotten. Painting is a meditation. It is also frustrating, complicated, nuanced and richly satisfying for its own sake.

I have a Bachelor of Design (Hons, 1st) and have been exhibiting and selling my work since 2007. My work has been shown in various galleries and exhibitions around New Zealand.
